PRESERVING THE LOW POINTS OF HIGH OFFICE
Hail to
the grief.
Great office. Questionable occupants.
A monument to the moments they’d rather you forgot.
No taxpayer funding. Plenty of taxpayer material.

FOR FRAMING
FEATURED EXHIBITION · PRESIDENT NO. 45 & 47
The Trump Wing.
One presidency wasn’t enough.
Neither was one wing.

All that glitters
is probably
his name.
The chandeliers have chandeliers. The burgers have butlers. And the ego has its own gift shop. Welcome to a presidential spectacle so gilded that even the punchlines come with gold leaf.

Presidents. Behaving badly.
Some broke rules.
Others broke the cringe scale.

NEW ACQUISITIONS · QUESTIONABLE TASTE, EXCEPTIONAL FRAMES
The gilt complex.
Six original tableaux.
Zero restraint.
Every painting is an imagined satirical scene, not a depiction of a photographed event. Select a painting to admire the excess.
INTERACTIVE EXHIBIT · ENTIRELY INVENTED
The presidential
excuse generator.
For when accountability simply doesn’t match the drapes.
“I take full responsibility for how unfairly this has been explained to me.”Original parody. These are not real presidential quotes.
OUR VERY UNOFFICIAL MISSION
Respect the office.
Question the occupant.
The Unpresidential Library collects the ego, evasion, scandal, and spectacular lack of self-awareness that sometimes come with the most powerful job in the world.
We punch up. We keep receipts. And we believe a democracy should be able to take a joke—especially at the top.
How to read the exhibits
Headlines, museum labels, illustrations, and the excuse generator are original satire. “The historical record” sections summarize documented events and link to reporting or archives. Misconduct, political controversy, and mere absurdity are distinguished in each entry. This site is independent and is not an official presidential library or government website.
